32 days and a suitcase
I got home last night after living out of a suitcase for 32 days. I love vacations, I can't wait to take my next one but living out of a suitcase for that long can be kind of a hassle. You look at your mini wardrobe and go "oh for crying out loud! I've already worn everything in here 5 times!!!"
The Portland-Boise-Portland vacation ended with a 2 night stop over in Sin City with some school chums. 2 nights on a roll away and 8 hours in a car did a number on my hips (ouch) but I had a good time and found out I'm a better sleeper than previous experience has led me to believe. I am a early to rise kind of gal no matter what time I go to bed and this tends to not be the way of many of my friends (minus ms. mary moo(alliteration to the rescue!!)) But pour a little alcohol down my gullet and I pass the fuck out for a good 5 hours.
Apparently pillows were stolen from right under my head, and ear phones were pulled outta my ears and not so much as a peep or a snore was heard from me. Although I did wake up at 4 am and never really did sleep again until the alarm went off at 6:30 to start the funnest of all fun drives home across what I like to call Hell. Hell is that stretch of AZ 93 from the hoover dam to Wickiup. Aint nothin or nobody for roughly 200 miles. Oh, there is the slowest gas pump on the face of the earth, and 4 land fills. yee-haw.
The five of us in the car did manage to pass the time by playing "would you rather..." a game in which two freakish alternatives are offered and you are pressured to pick one. For instance: all of us would rather be shot than starve to death. The best part came when all of us admited that we would rather have herpies than sleep with a weird classmate of ours.
Now it's time to get ready to go back to class...classes start tomorrow, and I have around 700 dollars in text books to acquire before monday. bah.
